HAVE YOUR SAY

Save the Railway Arms Pub Community Consultation Questionnaire

A community owned pub for Saffron Walden? For most towns and villages pubs offer a vital service; they are meeting places, communication centres and an important lynch-pin of town and village life. Much of the appeal of our town rests on its sense of community. It is the reason many people have moved here and remain here. We feel that the continued presence and success of our pubs greatly enhances that community spirit.

This questionnaire is the first step in identifying what would make a community pub succeed here in Saffron Walden. We need to know your views on what might be provided if the Railway Arms became a Community Pub and what would receive your support. Please be as honest and realistic as possible in your answers!

Your response will be treated in confidence. It is entirely anonymous, unless you wish to add your name and contact details. We would also like to hear from you if you feel you could help in any way with the campaign to Save The Railway Arms.
